Satisfying Saturday

I slept in this morning - That's right - I didn't get up until 7:45 a.m.  We'll try and forget that I was up at 7 and went back to bed.  I realized I dozed off when I heard the coffee finish brewing.  Honey Do pushed the button to turn it on and I woke to freshly brewed coffee.  That was such a nice way to get up :)

So after watching Fons and Porter and Sewing with Nancy, I made breakfast, did dishes and put on a crockpot of vegetable beef soup, started the laundry and made a batch of rice krispie treats.
I talked to BFF while I did all this and then even got a chance to talk to Mom.  She requested a new recipe which I couldn't track down on line, but found something else that we both thought sounded interesting.  So I'm making that and we'll share on Thursday when I go to visit her.

Working on my stitchery last night I watched a French movie.  No I don't know French, I had to read the sub-titles, but it was so worth it.

Today, I'm listening to an audio book with Newton while I work on my stitchery.  He's done most of his chores, so it gives us some time to enjoy something together.

Thanks for stopping by . . .

Wishing you a creative weekend.

    1. Both of your "to-do's" sound very satisfying. Time with the hubs and time getting stuff organized. Both make you feel really good. So happy for you.

      love and hugs.
