Friday Night Sew-In

Is it possible another month has gone by?  I am astounded that it's almost the end of the year.  Where did 2013 go?  Not sure I want to have a do-over, but it did go by rather quickly.

So are you joining all of us virtually for another Friday Night Sew-In?  I, of course, still have Christmas gifts to make.  I can justify it because BFF and I are having our gift exchange in January after children go back to school and we go back to a semi-normal routine.  So I'm working on her gifts :)

I've been a bit AWOL all week.  What craziness !!  I'm not usually a super-busy, can't-get-it-done type of person.  I make my lists, I get my stuff done and then I have time to do what needs my attention.  This week, I have spent time with BFF, Mom, running countless errands, cleaning, laundry and even some stitching and crocheting.  But I have been on the go all week. I don't usually run errands everyday.  This week I did, I have and I will yet again today.  Having made all those complaints, my goal is to have as many errands done this week so that I can spend the next two weeks with my guys at home :)  Newton has the next two weeks for Christmas, although these days of anti-Christianity it's called "Winter Break".  Honey Do has gifted me again this year with vacation time, so he will be home for 12 days.  I am so excited that I could just about burst.

I have recipe searched, menu planned, grocery shopped to make sure I have at least the majority of my supplies.  I've been to the library, have books and movies.  I've been to the craft store and purchased whatever I needed to work on projects.  I even have some near-future blog ideas on paper :)  That's not usual for me.  I just take each blog-day as it comes and goes :)

Thank you for stopping by,

Wishing you a creative Friday Night Sew-In.

Love'n'hugs,

Edi

  1. My creative Friday night is a non-starter. I spent the day with a 2-year old, and I'm beat. LOL Merry Christmas. Enjoy that time with your "boys" because things change so fast!
