On the way home, I had to stop and purchase gasoline for my car. I hate doingit, so I put it off as long as possible. Today was the deadline. We have a promotion at a local grocer call Fuel Perks. For every $50 you spend, you earn 10 cents off your gallon price. I'd accumulated $1.10 so it was a good time to fill my tank - plus I have to go to Mom's on Monday. Gas prices have dropped down to $2.21/gallon locally for regular unleaded. I got premium unleaded for $1.31 with my discount. I filled my tank for $13.00 !!!
Consequently, that means not much is getting done - just adding to my stress level. But I'm not in panic mode . . . yet :)
I did manage to get some cookies made today.
New this year - Candy cane :) They've been sampled and approved.
Can't decide if Nina was soaking up the heat from the oven, or guarding the cookies :)

Your gas promotion is better than mine! We get 10 cents for $100 or 15 cents for $150, depending on the store. Your regular is cheaper than mine, too. I paid $2.38 yesterday at the cheap Shell. I let my son use all the store cents off, since he drives to work every day. I love the look of those cookies. I'm sorry for your DH's earache. I'd rather give birth than have an earache! As long as I didn't have to bring up the baby. LOL
