Restful Sunday . . . busy Monday

This is how Saturday ended . . .

And Sunday began AND ended.

It was a very wet night Saturday and the yard was over-saturated, leaving water running and standing throughout our property. Mind you, I'm not going to complain because it's been a month and a half since we've had any real rain. So my attitude is one of gratitude that we are getting this much needed soaking.

After I got home from church, we took the afternoon to visit my niece and her family so the guys could go fishing. That had a great time until they got caught in yet another down-pour. We dealt with it off and on all day. The temperature has dropped down into the 50s, but that's OK too - a break from 90s and humidity.

The day and evening were quiet and restful. Just as Sundays should be.
The only stresser in our day was coming to the conclusion that poor little Chewy may be suffering from seizures. We have a vet appointment this week and have been in touch with him, so he's aware and we know what to do for this poor little love-bug. But the Internet is a wonderful thing and full of "at-your-finger-tips" information. So we did the research.

So if you would be so kind as to keep us in your prayers, especially Chewy, we would really appreciate it.  Thank you.

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a day filled with creativity.

  1. I'm so sorry about the possible seizures for Chewy, but children sometimes grow out of that, so maybe the puppy will, too. I love all the rain you had. We had some yesterday afternoon, but not enough.
