John Wayne

 John Wayne is finished!!!

In time, under deadline !!!

I'm very excited !!!


 

 

These are the in-progress photos. The leaf print in the upper right is the backing I chose - using what I have.


I saw the panel on another blog a couple of years ago. I used a wave stitch on my domestic machine to do the quilting. It is my go to stitch because it is very forgiving. I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but I do very much.





I used the same stitch to stitch diagonal lines on the borders. Solid brown for the binding.

This is a gift for the father-in-law.

    I LOVE IT!!! The Duke! My brother loves John Wayne and he would love this quilt very much also. If your FIL is as much a fan as my brother, it's a shoo-in! Great job on a fun quilt!
