Mid - July . . . FNSI recap

I am completely amazed that we are more than half way through July !!!
I don't feel I have anything done, although the last few days I have managed to squeak out some time to work on my own personal projects.

I started and finished a set of placemats for my family.

Thursday, I finished another block on Wendy's quilt pattern.

This block is so cute and so much fun to stitch.

Friday, I managed to get the gnome finished and started the second mushroom.
The top is almost finished.

Have you been following or collecting "Row by Row" patterns? I've been seeing and hearing a lot about it on Facebook. I found this one on Facebook. It's called Trifle Dish and you can find it on Moda Bake Shop. Who doesn't love free quilt patterns?  :)

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a creative day.

  3. I love your Wendy blocks! It's killing me not to give up everything and go start that. LOL 2015, 2015, 2015. =) Your placemats are great, too! I have collected 4 R X R, and 3 license plates, so far. It's fun to collect, that's a project for next year, too, though. One of the rows will make a great quilt all by itself - well, several will - but a quick scrappy one.

  5. Oh my goodness, am I behind :)
Susan, I agree, the individual rows would make really cute quilts. I was on Quilt Doodle the other day and someone did the mugs in a variety of colors - really cute !!!!
Let's don't rush 2015 - I still have way too much to finish before the end of the year :)

I'm a huge horder of patterns on my computer. I download and save. One of these days, I'll be looking for something to do (not sure what millenium that will happen in :)
And we'll have all these free patterns saved :) If we never get to them, we'll only have lost a little time clicking and saving :)
