Day off !!!

Who doesn't love a day off??

I love being able to stay home and feel accomplished getting things done.

Along with the normal household chores, I was able to update my mantle.
I don't do much seasonal decorating except to change the door wreaths and the mantle. When I look at this collection, I know that I am so very loved - everyone was a gift.

I spent the day working on goal list projects in between chores like laundry. The best way to multi-task because the washing and drying pretty much take care of themselves except to empty and switch and put away.

I didn't make as much progress as I would have liked, but expect to finish this week.

I did make good progress on a new stitchery. There are 12 of these small blocks. This pattern and background fabric were gifts a couple of years ago from BF. They are the perfect size for working on with a pup in my lap.

Thursday I made little progress on anything because so much of my day was spent on the phone and running errands.

There is no school on Friday, so a trip to the library, but I'm determined to get something done.

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a day filled with creativity and productivity.

  1. Aw such cute bears, Edith!! Yes laundry is one of my favorite chores because it pretty much takes care of itself - but you'd think they would have invented a self-folding dryer by now. Your stitcheries are cute. I have to go to the library tomorrow, for the second time this week - such a hardship, lol!!!!!!!!

  2. Your mantle looks terrific, and how lovely to look at it and know that all the little stuffies were love gifts! I REALLY like your redwork. Who's patterns are those? They look a little familiar, as if I might have debated buying them in the past. LOL.
