30 Minute Sewing Challenge

Adventures in Oz is hosting a 30 Minute Sewing Challenge throughout the month of May.
Rules are pretty simple - sew minutes a day, six days a week. I'm excited because I know how much I can get done if I can just sew for 30 minutes every day.

I've had some freedom added to my schedule so this should be very doable for me. Hope you join us. I've added a link to make it easy :)

Last week I decided I needed to take my dot row apart for the Redwork quilt. Things weren't lining up the way I really wanted them to, so Friday night I unsewed the two rows.

My first 30 minutes for the challenge was sewing on the side sashes. Now I have to trim and decide what I want to do next because it's not quite working out like it did on paper.

I interrupted this sewing session - it's my time :)

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a day filled with creativity and productivity.

  1. 30 minutes a day - I wish I could do that - some days I can't find any time at all, other days I stitch for 6 hours. Love your nine patches!

  2. I'm so glad you are doing this, too! My 30 minutes today will be handwork. Your blocks look good to me, but I know there's been many a slip in my quilting between the design and the execution. LOL
