Wishing you days filled with creativity.

Winding down . . .

(image from yahoo)

I found some free time at the beginning of the week and managed to crank out a couple more PJ bottoms . . . one for Honey Do and one for me :)

Part of Newton's morning on Friday was running to JoAnn's with me and choosing his own fabric. He doesn't know that I will be cranking them out Friday night so he can open them for Christmas.

We took Friday morning just to play. We went to JoAnn's, the grocery store, a new department store Newton wanted to check out and McDonald's for snacks . . . Trying to have fun, I ordered happy meals for us :) He was a little embarassed, but you could tell that he liked seeing the fun side of mom :)

So for the rest of the weekend, we will be enjoying family time together, family time with Mom/Oma and cousins.

We want to wish everyone a blessed and happy Christmas, with countless blessings.

Thanks for stopping by.

Busy, busy, busy...

(Image from Yahoo)

It's been a busy few weeks, and I'm feel behind and neglectful.

My mornings usually begin at

(Image from Yahoo)

That's right - 5:30 a.m.

Dogs out . . . pack Honey Do's lunch . . .

Yes - Coffee !!!

Fons and Porter are on at 6:00 a.m. I try to catch it before I move on to my chore/to-do list.

Bed is stripped and sheets in the washer. Clothes from the dryer are folded and put away.

I finished the gift wrapping that's going to Mom's on Wednesday. I'm frustrated because as hard as I worked to get gifts finished, the week of Christmas still finds me at them.

Once I finished with the gifts, I moved on to the rest of my to-do list. I have a pile of books next to my chair, so I had Newton help unload my cookbooks. They needed purged and reorganized.

I have some that are from

favorite authors - keep

healthier eating - keep

Honey Do's - definitely KEEP !!

Laundry done - dusting, vacuuming done !

All before NOON !!!

It's still really cold out, making me unmotivated to venture out even though I have a few errands to run.

So what did I do with my afternoon?

I did run to the grocery store for lunch supplies and then a quick trip to the library garnering me a new audio book and some new movies.

We'll see what I can accomplish Monday evening.

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a day filled with countless blessings.
