He had a bit of a run-in with a neighbor's dog yesterday - the dog jumped two fences to get to my dogs!!!!! Not impressed. Mine got a good bite close to his left eye. Fortunately, his eye was missed and for the most part he's ok. He really didn't want to be messed with last night. And he's not impressed with having his picture taken this morning. He wants nothing in his face.
I pre-baked the chicken and it will get cut up into bite size chunks.
Then added to this bowl of rice, broccoli, cheese and broth/soup. Then it will get baked and be ready for dinner when everyone gets home. I'm going to use the same baking dish that I pre-baked the chicken to put the casserole in to cut down on the amount of dishes that will need cleaned up later. We all know how much we hate just cleaning up dishes.
So basically, the afternoon is mine :) Oh what to do with all this glorious time :)
I piddled around in the garden and will continue to do so each time the poochies need to visit the back yard. Even though we still have a good month or month and a half of decent weather to look forward to, it is also time to start thinking about what needs to be dealt with before the frost in early-mid October. We are already four days into September. And we all know how fast time goes. And there's nothing worse than having to pick up and put things away that are all wet and muddy.
And looking at this gorgeous day - it's really hard to picture anything else.
Thanks for stopping by.....
Wishing you a glorious, creative Wednesday.
