It is finally that time of year when things are moving quickly forward, ready or not.
New Year's - come and gone
Spring Break - come and gone
Easter - come and gone
January, February, March - come and gone
April - almost gone !!!!
It's also that time of year, when lots of outside things need to be accomplished.
Last Saturday, Newton and Honey Do helped me finish mulching my flower gardens. It always looks so clean and inviting when it's first done.
The bench is still covered because I just haven't had time to do the weather proofing on it and we've had quite a bit of rain.
I have a finish to share . . .
This design is from Alida for the Growing Up QAL.
There were two designs and I posted the first and worked really hard to get this one done.
I am so excited that with the silhouette quilting I'm doing I will have a completely finished quilt.
I am still determined to get more UFOs done. I am really discouraged that I have so few, but I haven't lost site of my goal for the year. I think I have to reaccess what I want to work on at basically the same time. I need, yes need, to have some type of hand work that I can do while Rocky insists on occupying my lap and I need to have something on the sewing machine, a quilt. There are several that are in the finishing stages and would make getting UFOs done very easy.
