This is
now this
and this.
I really don't like tearing things out. That's why I try really hard to do it right the first time. I'm sure I'm not the only person that's ever had to take a quilt apart and start over. At least I'm pretty sure not everyone has disposable resources to just chuck and begin again. I also didn't leave myself any room for error on this project. So . . .
Back to the drawing board :) I had a deadline. End of September. That's come and gone. Now I would just like this project done. I want to be happy with it again. So I'm heading back to square one - literally - and starting over.
All of the blocks are stitched. Now all I have to do is decide how to finish it and be happy with it. That will happen. I have confidence in my abilities. I just need to slow down and not worry so much about deadlines. And . . .
"Git 'er done !!!! " :)
Thanks for stopping by.
Wishing you a creative day.

Ooops, too late for washing! But my next solution is to use cornerstones. It makes it a lot easier to match things up when you have seams in those corner spots. =) You only need four! Love your Halloween finger-tip towels.
you will get there hunny....I have faith in you! xox big sugary ones :o)
Hi Edi, thanks for coming by my blog and leaving a comment... for some reason it has come through as a no reply ... just as well i can come along and visit you!
Reverse sewing is not much fun... but it is worth it to get a good result... I love your towels....I wonder if anyone will wipe their handson the spiders????

Thanks, DSQ. I'm going to try those corner stones. Should have thought of it myself.
of course you do, you're one of my biggest cheerleaders. Thank you.
I don't know why it comes as no reply. This is all new to me - lots to figure out.
Reverse sewing - that's sounds so much better than tearing out, doesn't it? I really appreciate the encouragement.
I love your blog. I'm having a great time looking at all your lovelies.
Towels - their white !! I live with the male species !! They know better than to touch them with their grubby paws :) At least so far :) They are fun, aren't they? I'm a bit of a smarty pants - please don't take offense to my comments. We Americans tend to be a little sarcastic :) Love and hugs.
Hello Edi,
Good luck with your patchwork, the design of it is lovely.
Happy days.
Bev.
Thank you. It's a Jenny of Elefantz design. She does wonderful work. It will come together eventually. Have a blessed day.
