Happily Interrupted

Friday Night With Friends has been happily interrupted....

This is Ryland,

He was born at 3:31 a.m. on Friday, January 10.

and with Big Brother.  I couldn't love these boys more than if they were my own.

Mama is doing great and Papa couldn't be more proud of his little men.

I did manage to get something done.

(Floor mat)

I found the bag of cotton yarn at my local craft store.  They are odds that are sold by the bag.  I spent just $8.00 on the bag of yarn and didn't even use it all.  I did a single crochet, catching only the back of the loops to create the ribbing.  I finished it off with the crab stitch - which is basically a backward single crochet.  So instead of stitching from right to left, you do it left to right.  I like the finish.

I'm off to meet my ninth great nephew.

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a creative weekend.

Thank you both for such sweet comments. Definitely more exciting and perfect. He is all of those things and more. This mommy has waited a long time for the right guy to come along and they are such a happy family. I couldn't be more thrilled for my niece and her son to welcome her husband and now new baby. So many blessings. Love'n'hugs.

I'd drop my stitching any day to hug that little bundle of joy.

Craft can be done anytime but babies they're a different story altogether. He's a very handsome young man (with a very proud big brother too). They're going to bring you many hours of happiness (truly blessed).

Thank you. I have to agree. He's absolutely perfect. Anyone who doesn't believe in God's miracles just needs to hold one of these precious, little angels :)

They are absolutely precious. Unfortunately, they live about an hour's drive away, so there is still time to squeeze in a little hand-work. Thank you.
