Happy, Busy Girl

I started my week by going and purchasing these gorgeous, rayon flosses from DMC. The colors are stunning and fit for royalty :)

Pardon my segway . . .

Bethlehem - Block 6

DONE :) :) :)

I had this guy done over the weekend except for the gem in his headpiece. It's on there now as you can see in the picture above.

I finished this guy this morning. It's amazing how long these swirls take. His fez didn't show a tassle, but I was pretty sure they had them, so I added it. Seems to finish him off, doesn't it? Also, the other two wisemen had gems on their head pieces and I was feeling like he was being a little left out without some bling of his own.

The camels tassles - these things are tiny and take some time to get put together, but they sure add some nice detail.

Love all the finery on this gentleman, down to his gold slippers :)

I trimmed his clothing with metallic thread.

So very happy to see this one turn out so beautifully. I'm half way through the stitching on this project.

So what has you excited today?

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a creative day.

Thank you, Anthea. I try to stitch daily, but it sure is a lot of fun and encouraging to have additional motivation from FNSI. So glad you checked in.
