Monday's Progress Report

I LOVE Mondays !!!

Everyone goes back to work/school,
the house is empty but for me and the pups.

I begin my day with basic chores and start the laundry, prep dinner. I'm still mostly making a menu but trying to use more of what we have and not running out to get more supplies. I like staying home.

I managed to catch up my laundry and even put it out on the line to dry. It was 93, felt like 100. The heat just wrapped itself around you when you walked out the door.

Consequently, we made numerous trips outside only staying for small bits of time.

Rocky managed burst of energy to play before asking to go back inside.

or . . .

was he asking to go for a walk?

He has the pouting routine down to a science !!!

We did get that walk in, a short one, but not until almost 9:30 p.m. Before the rains hit about 10 p.m. until early Tuesday morning. The garden is going to love the slow, steady of it.

It was still 80 degrees when we ventured out. I didn't want it to get any later or darker.

Other than that I spent my day, as I said, catching up laundry and prepping for Mystery #3. It's hard to reign in my excitement over a new project !!

I'm waiting for the required fabric to arrive. My super sweet friend Susan took care of that for both of us :)
And no you can't have her !!!

Aren't the colors great and confusing? Can't wait to dive in !!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a day filled with kindness.

Verse of the Day

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:31 NIVUK

LOL, you made me laugh. I'm excited to see your blocks for Mystery 3 - that's going to be awesome! I'll shoot the fabric out the day after it arrives - I have a bunch of things to take to the post office, including lace for you, too. Maybe I'll just toss it in with that and send. =)

I can't believe how late it is light up there. I guess you are enough further north than I that it is longer. Must be like Alaska in the spring. =) It's hot and humid here, too. Ugh.

LOL I love Mondays too!!! It was so stinkin' hot over the weekend, this morning we're in the low 60's and I love it. But I have to go out into the rain....sigh. There's a fawn laying right outside my sewing room window, looking very displeased at his shower, lol!
Rocky is such a darling. I think I need a dog so I have an excuse to walk. Love your new fabrics!!!!
