The weather is turning bitterly cold with an artic blast coming over the weekend. We are talking below zero Farenheit temperatures and windchill.
We do need to go out ocassionally. We had snow Saturday morning.
It's grey and overcast, but the snow coming down is still pretty.
We had a couple of visitors who, in my opinion, don't look all that impressed with the snow.
It's really a good weekend to stay indoors.
And a good time to work on my goals. These are the things I would like to get done this weekend and my progress so far, between Friday and Saturday:
1. Bear Color Challenge
- applique block done
- quilt block done
- assemble row
2. Color Challenge
- assemble last block done
- quilt blocks

3. Sewing class homework
- prep block for next class
4. Continue 15 minute stitching challenge
I spent Friday evening organizing my hexagon inches so that I can start stitching them again.
5. Download several patterns
done

Your bears are adorable! And so are you visitors too.
Brrrr, We are getting the cold weather here too in PA. Like you, I use the time inside to sew 😊
I guess right there you brought me a blessing lesson - quit complaining about temperatures in the 30s! LOL It is going to be a low of 8 here on Tuesday night, and sorry, I AM going to complain about that! I hope you get to stay home and sew a lot this week, but that Joe is safe back and forth to work.
You got great pics of those deer. So nice to live in the city and still have visitors like that. All of your blocks look good, but I do like the black bear's tummy best.
You do have perfect weather to stay in and sew!! Here in northern Nevada I am enjoying sunshine and 50+ degrees, with no wind!! Those arctic blasts you get are scary cold and I do feel sorry for your adorable visitors, even though they do have thick fur coats on! Loving your bears!!
