Downer Days

It is so hard to be without my computer.  I found a phone number, but forgot to call to find out about repairs.

In the meantime, household chores are caught up, yard is looking better after Newton did some mowing and I did some trimming.  My Beauty Butterfly has been completed and I started cutting out background fabric for the next project.  The top for the second baby quilt has been assembled and I've begun assembly on Newton's quilt.  I've also printed off the patterns and instructions for Long Time Ago in Bethlehem.  You can find Blocks 2-12 and assembly instructions completecraft.com.au.  There is a tab on the home page that will direct you.  The first block appears in Homespun Australia.  The digital magazine can be purchased from Zinio.com.

These are the work of my good friend Wendy at Sugarlane Quilts.  Didn't she do a fantastic job.  I love her use of a dark brown to set off the blocks.  And look at the adorable background fabric she chose.  Love it.

Well, I guess that's it for today.

Thanks for stopping by....

Wishing you a creative day.

You seem to have accomplished a lot for one night! I love Wendy's quilt, and I look forward to seeing yours progress. I keep thinking about it, but haven't done more than that yet!

I would encourage you to "go for it". I think it's going to work up fast and be fun while we're doing it.
