HQAL - 2019

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another.  If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link above.

Within an inch of my life - new stitching project for the next year.

My block of the month machine applique class. Bonus, there is some hand work every once in a while.

This month was a couple of yoyos and buttons for embellishments.

Another block that I added buttons.

I did the binding and hanger on this wall hanging.

The next project had me actually doing some embroidery, which I haven't done for months.
The designed was offered as a grift from Jenny of Elefantz.

I enjoyed this so much I made more.

The first one is mine, the second will be a gift.

I prepped a new Stitch Along I'm doing with a local friend.

It's from Crabapple Hill and called Girl's Getaway. I've had the pattern for a couple of weeks and finally made time to get it drawn off, colored and ready to stitch. The next block which is much bigger won't arrive until March.

Wishing you a day filled with things that keep and make you happy.

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

You have really add some variety to your handwork for 2019; embroidery, shading, not to mention all the piecing you do. New projects are so much fun! I will enjoy watching all of these!
