Permission granted

Earlier in the week, I was advised by a dear friend to give myself permission to relax and not put so much pressure on myself to get things done . . .

First, I owe her an apology. I think I may have sounded like I was complaining or fretting about how much I have to do :( That was not my intention at all, but she did get me thinking. It's the Christmas and Thanksgiving season. Yes, there's a fair amount of things that need to be done. Honestly, I have far less than most people, mostly because I refuse at this stage in my life to get all caught up in they hype. We don't do a lot of shopping anymore because what we need we just go and get and I personally have very few wants and usually take care of those when the mood strikes.

Following a holiday that is set aside to think about all we are grateful for, I decided, YES, I can relax a little. What I want to get done, will get done. My fussing and fretting won't make it happen. And with my new attitude, I have made some progress on things I have wanted to work on :)

I managed to get a dozen 9-patches completed and ready for swapping :)

And I am pleased with what I've accomplished on Bethlehem.

Give yourself permission to relax, to enjoy this season of loving and giving, remembering what really is important.

Thank you for stopping by,

Wishing you a blessed day.
