Newton spent the day with Young Marines. Honey Do helped a friend with vehicle issues. I spent my day working on the usual suspects.
First, the brown "hearts" quilt block.
It is FINISHED :)
Next, Quilty Stitches Block 4.
It is FINISHED :)
And a new project begun.
Here is the link.
And here is what I hope to accomplish and have it look like:
One of my great nephews loves trains and thought I would make this for him. Isn't it adorable? Thanks to Melody at The House on the Side of the Hill for supplying the link for this and numerous other free patterns. If you haven't already found her, she's a huge blessing in the blog world.
Thanks for stopping by,
Wishing you a creative weekend.

Love that last best friend one. I know mine got me into a lot of trouble and caused me to spend way too much money when we went anywhere! Miss her. Your projects look great. How big is the heart one?
I'm sure you miss your BFF everyday. I can't imagine life without mine. The heart block is a 12x12 and part of a series of 12. I have 5 or 7 done. Have a great one.
I really like that Quilty Stitches piece that you're working on, Edith. Will you frame it or are you making a pillow or wall hanging?
Thank you, Sarah. I'm loving it too. They are pretty quick to get done. My plan is to frame it - just for something different :)
