15 Minutes to Stitch - February 28, 2019

The guidelines are very generous and include any crafting we find ourselves drawn to at any given moment.

"If you want to play along, just keep up with how many days you find time to stitch and then link up each Sunday to share how well you did that week."

That's it - that's all the rules.

I missed posting last Sunday due to illness - me. I had the worst head cold I've had in a very long time. Add to that I had a part fail on my driver's side window that needed repair.

Since I only keep track of the days and not the exact time, here's how I did:

I did lots of sewing on my UFO project for this month.

I did some embroidery on some more of these sweet bookmarks.

And just like that, this block is finished. Just in time for the next one to arrive the first week of March.

Close ups of some of the detail stitches. There are still some details like beads and buttons that I'll do as I gather those supplies.

It doesn't look like a lot, but something everyday. And the quilt time is quite time consuming with that border.

Here are my statistics:

January:
26 of 31 days
83% completion

February:
Week of 17th to 23rd = 6 days
Week of 24th to 28th = 4 days
26 of 28 days = 92%

Year to date:

52 of 59 days = 88%

Not as much as I would like, but 100% for me will probably be unrealistic.

The button at the top of this post will take you to Life in Pieces and you can see how everyone else is doing or sign up yourself. If you are struggling for some motivation, this might just be the motivation you need to get back in the game.

Thanks for stopping by.

Wishing you a day filled with the things that make and keep you happy.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,

The time you spent was way more than 15 minutes a day, I'm positive! Your button doesn't go to the linky. I looked at the page source, and it has the photo but not the anchor that tells it where to go when you click. If that's clear as mud, we can talk in person. =)
