Friday Round-Up

It's Friday again!  This week went really fast for me. . .

Monday was spent catching up from the weekend and at the library printing patterns.

Block 20 - Lord's Prayer

Tuesday morning I spend in Bible study, the afternoon was spent with a final visit with Pops and taking him to the airport. When Newton came home from school, he helped me put things right.

I did spend the evening working on my Christmas Stitch-A-Long.

Wednesday, I spent the day just basically sitting around trying to feel better. Both of my guys were sick over the weekend and begining of the week. It was my turn, try as I might not to get sick.

Managed to get two more finished for a total of four.

Thursday morning I made an appointment at JoAnn's  to use their classroom to sandwich my Tilda quilt.

Unfortunately, I forgot to prep the backing and forgot the batting at home, so I didn't get much accomplished. I also had plans to meet mom and her sister (visiting from Canada) for lunch. We had a very nice visit.

I did manage to work on some of my 9-patches.

The new ones I received this week were my inspiration :)

Friday dawned with a little more enthusiasm than I've had all week. I got on my 30/30 bandwagon and started my day with my Bible study and then the laundry and some de-cluttering. I haven't spent as much time on that project as it needs, but felt pretty good with today's progress.

It was warm enough to spend some time out in the garden.

Some of my carrots got to be a pretty good size :)

This is half of my harvest. I had two containers full :)

Nina LOVES fresh vegetables. She polished of the peas on their vines and ate more than her share of tomatoes straight from the garden. She thought she should help me clean them - for a fee, of course :) I have a sinkful to prep for the freezer on Saturday.

Laundry is almost done and I managed to finish Block #5.

Friday evening is going to be somewhat quiet. I'm fighting with a headache and chills, so whatever bug Newton shared at the beginning of the week isn't done with me yet. So I may just finish my emails and put on some Netflix and snuggle with my Snuggy :)

I hope you all have had a productive week, let me know :)

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a creative weekend.

Even more tiring seeing it with pictures embedded! LOL What a lot done, though you might not think it. A vegetable eating dog? Doesn't that let the whole species down? =)
