August . . . half way mark

August has reached it's half-way mark. It's amazing how quickly time passes. For the most part, it has been a very productive, enjoyable month.

Honey Do celebrates his birthday (much to his chagrin) at the end of the month. He's working on taking vacation that whole week into the Labor Day weekend. Ten days away from work . . . and home :)

My day started by working on the third witch. I'm behind on my goal for the week, but hope to get this entire row ready for stitching beginning over the weekend.

On to the Lace Cabins . . .

The quilt is completely assembly. There are two remaining steps. The final border and binding.

And on that note, that will be my FNSI (Friday Night Sew-In).
Hope you will join friends all over the world.

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a day filled with creativity and productivity.

I do believe the witch project is a Crabapple Hill Design? Love their stuff and your witch is colored up beautifully. Those lacy cabins are pretty cool too. Never thought about lace for the roof tops.

It seems to me the witches are coming along quickly, and the lace cabin went together pretty quickly, too! You are managing a lot with your time. 10 days with hubby home - I hope he has a few things to do. LOL It will be nice to have just the two of you during the day. Do you plan any day trips?
