Monthly commitments

I find that I work much better when I have deadlines and goals to work with.

Wool block of the month

Yes, I get myself in over my head very quickly and struggle each month to keep up. Usually because I tend to leave things for the last minute for a more interesting, fun, new project.

I didn't do that this month, and boy am I ever glad I didn't. It's taken me the first 17 days to do these three commitments, plus my ALYOFs commitment (more on this later).

But now that they are finished for the month, I can move on happily :)

First up, Block number eight of nine for Vintage Kitchen.

Next up, catch up and finish up. . .

Wendy's Friends stitch along.

Both of these are free stitcheries, so if you haven't downloaded your patterns yet they are still available.

I also have time this month to try my hand at some more paper piecing and prairie points for a new project that BF and I are working on side by side.

Do you have a friend or sister or mom that you both work on the same project together. I am enjoying this new experience. We are both always working on things simultaneously, but never the exact same project. It will be interesting to see how we fair.

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a day filled with creativity.

I have a friend, Stacey, but we are not working on the same things. We just work side by side on our own things every Monday. I look forward to that day, and miss the time if she can't come. You've done a great job! I have one more thing to do - the birdhouses! But I took yesterday and today to play anyway. ;)
