What I learned last week . . .

I learned how to make these really cute paper flowers. This kit, minus the paper, was a Christmas gift from BF. She thought I would like something new and different. Once I figured out the instructions they went together pretty quickly. The kit included the components to make 10 flowers. I stopped at four.

Personal goals for this week were to finish the gifts for two great nephews, which I did.

The gifts were delivered to Mom's on Thursday. She volunteered to get them to the boys for me the next time she goes to visit, which she does pretty frequently.

On the way home, I stopped at JoAnn's.

I have had my eye on this very pretty rose/heart print for some time. They were on sale half price and the bolt had two yards left, so I bought it.

Daphne's Diary . . .
Jenny of Elefantz has raved about this magazine and I was excited to see it at JoAnn's. I hadn't seen it before now.

When did magazines get so expensive ????
This one was $12.99 !!!!!
I'm still purusing it, so I don't have an opinion about whether or not I would purchase it again or order a subscription ( 8 issues per year are $89!!!)

I got squishy mail :)
I did some shopping and bidding on ebay and ended up with a couple of panels. This is one of them. I wanted something for Valentine's day.

Friday was spent in class getting the finishing instructions for the wool block of the month.

The blocks are done, now on to making it into something :)

I'm off to work on my lace cabin this evening.

Thanks for stopping by.

Wow, you post progressed from fabulous to fabulous to fabulous! The flowers are really cute, and I LOVE your wool blocks - plus everything in between. That rose print you got at JoAnn's is really pretty. Very Elefantz-like! You've been having too much fun. Stop that!

Your paper flowers are lovely!! As are your gifts! I like that rose fabric you got. I've not seen that magazine, I'll have to browse through it next time I'm at Joann's - but I won't be buying at that price! I wish they would carry Homespun, I'd pay it for that, lol. LOVE LOVE LOVE your wool blocks!
