Hump Day - successes

I posted earlier that I was feeling rather sluggish and unmotivated. Then Newton left for school and I got started.

I sewed together the rest of the flannel strips I had prepared.

I chose the fabrics for the next Quilter's Garden swap blocks.

More 5" blocks and 6" strips for scrap quilts.

After dinner, between dishes and laundry, I managed to work on a couple of new designs.

This one is from Jenny - Vintage Kitchen. It's not too late to get your's. Jenny is offering it free during January. The next design will be published the first Monday in February.

This piece of busy Heaven I found on Pinterest.

I love being busy, but I love when the busy-ness accomplishes much.

No school on Thursday because of snow and Artic freezing.

Thanks for stopping by,

Wishing you a day filled with creativity.

There was a two-hour delay here. Hard on working parents, but it was SO cold this morning. I think we went all the way to 26. =P You accomplished a lot for a sluggish day. More than I did!

Love Jenny's design too. Looking forward to seeing your sewn version.
